Overview

Spa Essentials’ Stain and Scale Control was designed to prevent and remove stains. Metals in the water such as iron, manganese, and cooper can stain your spas shell. Spa Essentials’ Stain and Scale Control will keep these pesky metals at bay! Spa Essentials’ Stain and Scale Control is also great at preventing scale from high levels of calcium from building up on the shell of your hot tub. 

What’s in the Box

• 1 x Spa Essentials Stain & Scale Control – 1 Pint

Directions

Start-Up:

1. Using the Chlorine Test Strip dip strip in spa water.
2. Using the chart on the back of bottle compare results.
3. Add 1 oz of Stain & Scale Control per 300 gallons of water.
4. Circulate spa or hot tub water for 1 hour.

Weekly Maintenance:

1. Using spa test strips, test your spas water and adjust when needed.
2. Add 1 oz of Stain & Scale Control per 300 gallons of water.
3. Ideal Range for alkalinity level: 80 – 120 ppm.
4. Ideal Range for pH level: 7.2 – 7.8.

Compatibility

• Compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone and biguanide sanitizers.
