• Follow all 3 steps of the poolife® MPT Extra System.
• When using poolife® MPT Extra 3″ Chlorinating Tablets, shock treat at least once a week with poolife® TurboShock shock treatment.
• Prevent green, black and yellow algae with poolife® Defend+® algaecide.
• Use your chlorine test Strips to test the chlorine and pH levels at least twice a week.

Dosage:

• One MPT Extra 3″ Chlorine Tablet per 10,000 Gallons of water to maintain a chlorine level between 1 – 3 ppm.

Method of Application:

• Use in a floating dispenser, automatic chlorinator, or dedicated feeder for this product, or place in the skimmer.
• Do not use in floaters or feeders previously used with other products.
• Ensure tablets do not touch plastic pool linings or metal objects.
• Avoid using in devices previously used with other chlorinating compounds.

Opening Your Pool:

• Balance pool water and shock treat using Poolife Stabilizer & Conditioner as directed. Follow label instructions.

Routine Chlorination:

• Ensure the skimmer or floater is clear of other chemicals or residues.
• Place one tablet per 10,000 gallons of water in the skimmer or floater.
• Do not add other chemicals while using this product in the skimmer or floater.
• Run the filter pump for at least 8 hours daily to prevent vinyl liner damage.
• If free chlorine exceeds 4 ppm, reduce skimmer flow rate or daily pump operation time.
• Reentry into the pool is prohibited above 4 ppm free chlorine due to safety risks.
• If chlorine drops below 1 ppm, add Poolife granular shock to maintain 1-4 ppm chlorine.
• Adjust skimmer flow rate or pump operation time based on bather load, water temperature, rain, and pump usage.
