Description
The Mechanical Rotary Encoder is used when you build a pool with water features that will be controlled via automation. This accessory does not allow water features to turn on when the automatic cover is closed.
**This feature calls for a dedicated electrical conduit to be ran from automation to the non motor end of the cover. It also requires the cover box to be 14″ on the non motor end.
Pentair and Hayward automation systems have a plug in port for the encoderIf using Jandy automation, splicing instructions are provided.
