For any pool filter (sand, cartridge, or DE) that requires a back-mounted pressure gauge, the Aqua Select® Pressure Gauge will serve as a suitable replacement. This gauge accurately measures the pressure inside your tank, which steadily increases as the filter takes in more debris.
When the pressure of your filter has increased by 8 – 10 PSI from your starting pressure, it’s time to backwash your filter or clean your cartridge.
