Efficiently heat your pool with the Beluga^® Gen2 Solar Pool Heater. Hook this new cap design up to a garden hose, and channel heat from the sun into your above ground or inground pool. Instead of using a solar cover or other heating devices, the Beluga^® Gen2 Solar Heater is designed to work with any standard 1 ½” return fitting, and its redesigned fiberglass-reinforced cap enforces maximum durability.

Instructions:

Turn off the pool pump
Remove the existing 1 ½” threaded eyeball fitting (if required)
Screw the device into the pool inlet
Attach a garden hose to the outlet at the top of the device
Lay the hose in a sunny area
Place the discharge end of the hose over the pool
Turn on the pool pump
Adjust the tab on the face of the device towards a closed position to force water into the garden hose. You may need to close the tab to fill the garden hose aggressively
Once water is floating from the opposite end of the hose, adjust the flow to approximately a ½” diameter or smaller stream. Remember – the longer the water is in the hose, the warmer the water will be when it exits
