SpaGuard Spa Shock-Oxidizer is a fast-dissolving, non-chlorine shock that clears spa and hot tub water by destroying the organic waste your sanitizer leaves behind. Every soak adds body oils, lotions, sweat, and other contaminants to the water. Sanitizer controls bacteria, but it doesn’t burn off that organic load — and when it builds up, the water turns cloudy, dull, and starts to smell. Shocking is how you oxidize that buildup away.

What sets this shock apart is what it doesn’t do: it doesn’t raise your chlorine residual.
